Brussels, 22 March 2016/ ACP: South-South cooperation amongst developing countries in the global South is gaining momentum in the international community as a complement to North-South development assistance. Along with Triangular Cooperation, which brings in one or more traditional donors into the equation, its potential to promote innovation, collaboration and self reliance amongst countries has been widely recognised as effective in helping to achieve development goals.

This video is based on a symposium organised on 11-12 February 2016, by theAfrican, Caribbean and Pacific Group of States (ACP), Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO), the Organisation Internationale de la Francophonie (OIF), supported by the Commonwealth Secretariat and the Community of Portuguese Speaking Countries (CPLP), focusing on the empowerment of women and youth through jobs and entrepreneurship.
