Ministers responsible of the development of the cultural sector and cultural industries in Africa, the Caribbean and the Pacific gathered in Brussels on 9-10 November to discuss the crucial relationship between culture and sustainable development, under the theme: “Making Culture and Impact Investment in Achieving the 2030 Agenda on Sustainable Development”. Ministers committed to ensuring more attention to the sector in government plans and strategies, including enhanced funding, integration into national policies, and coordination with other departments.
