Brussels, 6 July 2022/OACPS: The ACP-EU Culture Programme in Eastern Africa, in collaboration with Ignite Culture, today launched the Second call for applications. The Second call is open until Wednesday, 17 August 2022.

Creative talents who have registered and operational businesses in Burundi, Comoros, Djibouti, Eritrea, Ethiopia, Kenya, Madagascar, Mauritius, Rwanda, Seychelles, Somalia, Sudan, Tanzania and Uganda are invited to apply for grants of up to a maximum of €180,000 euros per applicant.

In July 2021, HEVA Fund and the British Council, with the financial contribution of the European Union (EU), and further support from the Organisation of African, Caribbean and Pacific States (OACPS), launched a new Eastern Africa grant facility for the creative and cultural industries (CCIs) named Ignite Culture!

The ACP-EU Culture Programme in Eastern Africa was open to applicants in Burundi, Comoros, Djibouti, Eritrea, Ethiopia, Kenya, Madagascar, Mauritius, Rwanda, Seychelles, Somalia, Sudan, Tanzania and Uganda.

The Ignite Africa fund is part of the global ACP-EU Culture programme which is being implemented by HEVA, in partnership with the British Council, with the financial contribution of the European Union, and further support from the OACPS.
