Pacte Initiative 2025-2030
The OACPS brings together 79 developing countries and enters a new era of cooperation under the Samoa Agreement. The PACTE Initiative provides a strategic roadmap to modernize the Organization and strengthen its development impact.
The fisheries and aquaculture sector is vital to all 79 OACPS Member States, supporting livelihoods, health, and trade. The 3rd ACP Ministers’ Meeting adopted a Strategic Plan of Action for Fisheries and Aquaculture (2012–2020) to drive sustainable development.
