Fostering Fair Trade and Economic Transformation
Enabling Inclusive Growth Through Stronger Markets
The Organisation of African, Caribbean and Pacific States (OACPS) is a unique intergovernmental body representing 79 countries across three world regions: Africa, the Caribbean, and the Pacific.
Established in 1975 through the Georgetown Agreement, OACPS was created to amplify the voice of the Global South, advocate for equitable global development, and foster meaningful cooperation among its diverse members.
What makes OACPS exceptional is its tri-continental structure, longstanding partnerships (notably with the European Union), and unwavering commitment to a more just, sustainable world.
