H.E. Moussa Batraki, Secretary-General of the Organisation of African, Caribbean and Pacific States (OACPS), was received in audience by H.E. President Obiang Nguema Mbasogo of the Republic of Equatorial Guinea.
The Secretary-General updated President Obiang on the progress of the OACPS institutional reforms and the preparations for the 11th Summit of OACPS Heads of State and Government, set to be held in Malabo in early 2026.

Ahead of the Summit, a series of key forums will take place, including Youth, Women, Private Sector, Peace & Security, and Climate Change with a focus on SIDS, along with a High-Level Roundtable and Dialogue with Partners—all of which will contribute to the Summit’s agenda and outcomes.

President Obiang commended the Secretary-General for his leadership in steering the OACPS through its reform agenda and reaffirmed his Government’s unwavering support for the OACPS and full commitment to ensuring a successful Summit in the capital city, Malabo.
