Secretary-General Appoints Susan Branker Greene of Barbados Assistant Secretary-General for Policy and Programmes

The Secretary-General of the Organisation of African, Caribbean and Pacific States (OACPS) Moussa S. Batraki today announced the appointment of Ms Susan Branker Greene of Barbados, Caribbean Region as Assistant Secretary-General for Policy and Programmes.

Ms Branker Greene brings more than 25 years of experience at national, regional and international levels in policy leadership, programme oversight, governance, development cooperation and institutional performance. She has built a strong record in strategic programme management, multilateral partnerships, fiduciary oversight and results-based delivery across complex multi-country environments.

She most recently served as Senior Manager, Partnerships and Grants at Gavi, the Vaccine Alliance, where she provided strategic oversight of a major portfolio supporting technical assistance and programme delivery in more than 50 countries. Previously, she was Senior Manager, Programme Coordination and Implementation Oversight for the European Union-funded RESEMBID Programme. Earlier, she served as Regional Programme Director at the Caribbean Centre for Development Administration (CARICAD), where she led a multi-country social development programme in the Caribbean.

Ms. Branker Greene also served as Commissioner of the Regional Judicial and Legal Services Commission of the Caribbean Court of Justice, including as Deputy Chair and Chair of its Financial Oversight Committee. She is a Chevening Scholar and has undertaken advanced professional development in leadership, evaluation and results-based management.
