The Anthem of the OACPS

Entitled “Senderos”, the official anthem of the Organization of African, Caribbean and Pacific States (OACPS) was composed by Dominican musician Manuel Jiménez.

Selected from over sixty submissions from Member States, the anthem was chosen by an international panel of musical experts for its uplifting rhythm, cultural authenticity, and its powerful message of unity, hope, and solidarity.

“Senderos” – meaning paths – symbolizes the collective journey of African, Caribbean, and Pacific nations towards a shared future built on cooperation, peace, and sustainable development.

Since its official debut in 2013 in Brussels, the anthem has resonated as a symbol of diversity and cohesion, uniting the 79 Member States of the OACPS under one melody and one vision.
